The Candidate

Gary G. Vestal

Born Beijing. Chose Mississippi.

Gary Vestal came to America at 9 years old, landing in Long Beach, Mississippi. He earned his U.S. citizenship at 13 — not because it was handed to him, but because he fought for it. Mississippi is the state he chose. These aren't inherited roots. They're earned.

Served This Country.

Gary served in the Mississippi Army National Guard, 25W MOS, with an honorable discharge. He chose to put on this country's uniform and defend the nation that gave him a home. That commitment to service is what drives his campaign.

Built on the Gulf Coast.

Gary founded and operated INSPR Exchange Outfitters at Edgewater Mall in Biloxi. He knows what it takes to build a business on the Gulf Coast — and he knows exactly what the system does to small businesses that try to survive. Rising insurance, rent, taxes, and regulations forced him to close. That experience is his credential, not a liability.

Living Every Issue He Runs On.

Gary has CVID — a serious immune disorder. He pays marketplace insurance premiums every month and still gets hit with $100 copays every visit. He's driven the same broken Harrison County roads for a decade. He's applied for disability and been denied by a front-line clerk on the spot. These aren't talking points. They're Tuesday mornings.

Done Watching. Running.

Gary is running for Mississippi State Senate District 50 as a Republican because working people on the Gulf Coast deserve a senator who has actually lived their life. He's not running for a title. He's running because the system that failed him is failing everyone — and somebody has to do something about it.
